College Football Arrives Again

In lieu of a podcast, which will commence its regularly scheduled fall programming next week, we thought we would share a few of our picks for this coming season. Sure, college football technically started last week and there are a smattering games tonight and Friday. But, college football doesn't truly begin until the bevy of noon games kickoff. Then, its all leg cramps, surprise suspensions, teams disappointing, teams impressing, and when its all over, we get to overreact for a week.

Last year before the season, we each picked a "surprise" team. Brian picked TCU, who went 11-3 and finished in the top ten. I picked Georgia, well, we know what happened there. Without any confidence that we will be as accurate this year, here are our picks for Underrated, Overrated, and who will make the playoff.

Underrated: USC

Overrated: Oregon

Playoff Teams: Clemson, Georgia, USC, Michigan State

Underrated: West Virginia

Overrated: Oklahoma

Playoff Teams: Alabama, Wisconsin, TCU, Clemson
